Recipe box

Recipe box made for a Christmas gift. Its actually the only gift I made this year, which is unusual for me.

Black, cream paper and metal box from Hobby Lobby. Fibers and embellishments from my stash.

Sand the box really well, cut and glue (I used Tacky brand) your papers onto the box. Dry. Then do several coats of Modge Podge over it, waiting for each to dry well, and lightly sanding the edges between coats-the edges tend to get a bit rough.

When its all dry you can fill the handle with fiber and ribbons to your hearts delight. :)

You can wipe it off with a damp cloth but I would be light handed with getting it wet.
